Business Development Executive

SpotOn Productions, celebrating 21 years in business, is actively seeking a full-time Business Development Executive to cultivate new business opportunities, generate new customer sales and grow those customers as long-term business partners. We're an award-winning full-service, growing Cincinnati video production and photography company. We're looking for a customer focused, entrepreneurial, results-driven team player who has a work hard, play hard mentality, taking pride in creating exceptional work that is spot on with our clients' communication goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by developing business (e.g. 60-70 touches to yield at least one close weekly) and high-level relationships with target accounts in our core business market
  • Build and develop prospect relationships turning prospects into customers using a consultative, value-based selling model, identifying key stakeholders in the decision-making process and working closely with our internal team to generate sales
  • Be the first step in the creative process with the client, helping them to define their vision for each project, understand their communication goals and tailor strategies and solutions to successfully meet these goals
  • Develop and grow business by establishing key client relationships up to the executive level
  • Create and implement territory and account plans
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Maintain our leadership position in the market by attending conferences/tradeshows, maintaining market awareness and share learnings with the team
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and at least three to four years in an outside-sales, business development role within a business-to-business environment
  • Experience with lead generation tools (able to quickly search/find information), hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including conceptual selling (vs. product) and consultative, value-based selling, able to deliver engaging presentations and understand sales performance metrics
  • Persistent, highly motivated to increase sales (a hunter) who has a competitive spirit with a passion for success
  • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical knowledge
  • Proficiency with MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel), scheduling and project management
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Position is full-time, which includes some after-hours events, evenings and weekends. Competitive salary (base plus commission) and benefits (medical/dental, HSA contribution and unlimited PTO) provided.
